BT My Customer Challenge Cup

The Challenge Cup was created in 2003, as part of the My Customer programme within BT Retail. It is a tournament designed to identify the supreme champions of improving the customer experience in BT. Trained judges evaluate through tournament stages, projects based on a set of core principles and following the evaluation, the highest scoring team progress to the next round. This attracts over 2500 BT people. In 2007 the semi finals held over three weeks at The De Vere Belfry Hotel, with the grand final held over a week at The Aphrodite Hills Golf resort and spa in Cyprus. In 2008 the semi finals were held at The Chesford Grange Hotel and The Palis Theatre in Brussels with The grand final held over a week at The Pena Longa Hotel & Country Club in Sintra, Portugal.   Role included all budget management, client liaison, design of all settings and daily management of event and the creation of a bespoke web site, which supported the teams throughout the competition, which included the filming of team tutorial videos which could be streamed from the site.
